Full blown anxiety attacks now when I have to go to work

I'm so burned out. I'm sick of taking three times the calls everyone else does. I have the daily reports to prove it, I have brought it to the attention of supervisors and my Vocational Support Advocate, but nothing gets done to reduce my call volume. I want to quit so bad, but of course I can't afford to. So every workday morning, I wake up and dread slowly washes over me, tightening my chest, wrecking my nervous system. I fight the urge to cry, and push myself to go through the motions and get on with the day.

But to be honest, Idk how much longer I can do this.

What will happen if you start to pick up less calls? If you just let it ring until one of your coworkers picks up? And if noone pics up, you all missed it?

I’m sure it’s easier said than done.. but it’s like your ex boyfriend, you keep cleaning after him even though he is the one making the mess.

What if once a day yoh try and let the phone ring just a few extra seconds at a time? While you build yourself up to also ignore the phones how your co workers do?

@deathfairy our phones are set up where you HAVE to take the call. It automatically picks up when there's a call, and the only way you can decline the call is to hit the 'end' button, and supervisors can see when you do that. It will get you a corrective action.
So then are they purposely routed more to you?

How do you end up picking up more calls? @DearAmbellina2113

@deathfairy they HAVE to have me on priority (which means more calls are routed to me). I've asked if I am and they always say no.... Then please explain how I'm getting this many more calls?! Make it make sense.
Yeah.. if you’re the one getting more calls and there is no way to decline it other than actually ignore/hang up. You’re definitely routed as the first one in line. And if you are on a call already, then your coworkers would get the next one, what you can’t pick up.

Can you see the other headsets blink or ring while you’re also getting a call? Is it possible? To see if you’re all ringing at the same time? @DearAmbellina2113

Yeah, you’re routed to be the main line. Maybe there is a way to play with your headset settings..? @DearAmbellina2113
