Just gonna write it all out & get a different perspective...

The psychiatric hospital just offered me a job. Housekeeping. But it's a state job so that means much more money & better benefits.
My current job pays way less with fewer benefits but it's what I love to do, hands on with dementia patients.
So do I go with the higher pay & possible unhappiness or do I stay with what I love??
I'm on meds myself so I always have to consider my own mental wellbeing when accepting job offers.
I really really need the money & stability of the hospital position.
Gaaahhhh I hate major decisions....

I think I may have told you why I think what I do. I didn't go into great detail but my friend who is like 56, is a very strong person but her housekeeping has just destroyed her body and she said I wish to God I could get out of this profession but it's the only thing I know. Ultimately go with your gut because nobody can really tell you what to do. We can just suggest. You have to do what you think is right for you.
