You absolutely should take your breaks
I don't know but I am speculating that they do not forgo their breaks
And if you taking a break ends up making them look bad or have to actually do some work, that's all the more reason for you to be taking them — aside from the fact that you actually need them, hopefully it will put a spotlight on their own terrible ethic / culture
I am curious, how many of the lazy colleagues are Arab rather than Amazigh? I wouldn't even think of something like this at all except for the fact that at times it seems like you possibly have been treated like an "other" by the invaders in your own homeland.

I won't disclose the ethnicity as to not provide fuel for racists but the ethnicity of the majority isn't mine.
Yes, a part of why I am taking the breaks is to make them understand that when one member of the team messes up, all the team will suffer.

@Miram I guess I wasn't even thinking just of ethnicity, like for example do any Imazighen who happen to be Sunni Muslim also exhibit the same culture of indifference and half-assed work? Is the religion primarily the driver of the work culture? Do some of the Muslims (Sunni or otherwise) do the right thing in terms of work culture?
Are there any common themes between the individuals who are a drag on the workplace, and any common themes that might be easier to change for the better?

That is ridiculous. How do they function if you’re sick if they can’t handle a 15 minute break?! No one should have that kind of pressure at work or anywhere.

@Miram 🤔exactly you need your rest time let others take the strain for a change
