Day 2..new job blues
Nobody's been kind nor talks to me.
Everyone over 90 days has a blue uniform, me, im in jeans and t shirt. I feel like an outcast before I even melt the die cast!
They moved me to a different line today because i was so good at the first line, i had to spray coolant on each part that passed through the machine..83 an hr, i got 84! I was super proud of myself on day one, [yesterday]. Today's day 2 and i got no co workers telling me good job, or doing fine..just a bunch of odd stares and whispers from the ladies arou d me..the gentlemen hold the door and nod but no interaction, guess im not only the talk of newbie on the block, but i guess with this machine conveyer belt shutting down i have to learn to keep stacking parts so when it flips back over, they arent behind. Its lunch break and unlike yesterdays ticker, i have no clue how many parts im in control of for production.. i guess its 75 pieces per box, 15 boxes twice a day upon my observations..but im not gonna ask any questions about it, just follow my handouts. Seems like everybody here has a click..oh well..lunch about over..back to my station!
