Hmm, that won't work.

Idk why gen x and boomers think that walking into a place and shaking the manager's hand will get you hired anymore. Won't help it's not 1983 anymore.

A long time ago, when I wanted a job as the new hardware store manager, and the manager told me he didn't think I was suitable for the job, I just looked very humble, and very disappointed, and said, "I understand. You don't hire women for management positions." 😁😁😁

(The hardware store was within walking distance of my house, and my son could walk over to see me if he needed anything after school).

ALL of a sudden...it was like I was the PERFECT candidate!!!! 🤣🤣🤣 I didn't HAVE to shake anyone's hand. 😉😉😉

@4meAndyou Yes, it does very much. That's how it's been this year. It wasn't like this before.

@disturbedchicken I'm sorry. Sometimes you just have to go to extremes...hang out in their cafeteria...make friends...🤣

@4meAndyou I wish it was that easy. Haha.
