Anytime you have PITA customers, it is best to let the manager deal with them.
Typically they are going to ask for one anyways.
I had worked at the same store for 13 years and aside a few customers acting gh3tto, I had very few incidents of personal insults.
We did have a few customers who were known crooks. I do not know why management allowed them to shop there.
But yeah such customers typically pull the same stunts everywhere they go.

The one and only time I cried in the office, was when I got the word that one of my colleagues, who was also a personal friend of many years, had committed suicide. A mutual friend took me aside and told me. I was crying in his arms. 😞

Yes and felt terrible. Felt awful and couldn't stop.
