I'm burnt out and trying my best at my new job.

It's not like its hard or that bad, it's that I can't sleep because of the hours, and I've asked them several times now to schedule me four days a week and they keep me at five. Its tricky with my son and not having any help. And I'd rather sacrifice a little money to be there for my kiddo. There's other reasons too.

I don't want to be worked to death and I made my boundaries, they're reasonable, I communicated... 🫩

It sucks because I like working, I like teamwork, but I hate being abused by my employer.

Did you ask for the 4 days before hired? If so, they knew full well before hiring you your availability. It's not like they are having to change an established hours of work scheduling just for you. I had to point that out once at an old job. Then my schedule was changed as i told them before they hired me
@Bexsy yes I told them, and I'm hired part time. If I work full time I lose my insurance, but they hired me PT so they wouldn't have to supply insurance. I even asked them multiple times and they haven't changed the schedule. I'm just going to ask what days they can cut me and if they don't I'll walk out and find something else. It sucks for my kid 😭

@ScreamingFox So, they hired you part time, but still expect you to work full time?
@DunningKruger Yup 😂 😭
