Its always like that

Did you ask for the 4 days before hired? If so, they knew full well before hiring you your availability. It's not like they are having to change an established hours of work scheduling just for you. I had to point that out once at an old job. Then my schedule was changed as i told them before they hired me

@ScreamingFox So, they hired you part time, but still expect you to work full time?
@DunningKruger Yup 😂 😭

@ScreamingFox Capitalism in a nutshell.

A new employer is probably not going to change up their established shifts. And it also seems that so many boss types hate compressed schedules, like they don't understand that 5 X 8 equals the same amount of hours as 4 X 10.

I hate that

can you get a 4 day week somwhere else?
@Pretzel I do not feel like trying to find another job. I can go back to my old job, but then I won't make enough.

@ScreamingFox Sometimes you have to be to get your way. The more you give the more people take and its taken for granted especially when it comes to work

Are they giving you really long work days?
@HowtoDestroyAngels pretty long yeah, and I start really early. I get off and go home to a kid full of energy. I need my energy for him. I thought it would work out good but I can feel my health backsliding already.
