Quitting your job with a two week notice is a double standard

Girl talking about being fired for no reason nor any warning. I honestly think it should be illegal without a reason but right to work makes it right to fire also regardless of reason or no reason. That's why our work system is toxic in the states. No protections and businesses can do what they want to you for any reason. Sick once? Oh you're fired. Couldn't get to work due to an emergency? Fired or written up.

In this woman’s case it was no reason but yeah work culture in America be like that

Well wait, highly qualified workers are almost always in demand. Toxic work environments drive highly qualified workers to more responsible employee environments. Short version, companies that treat people like crud don't usually last long, particularly in the service sector!

Wanna p1ss off the old boss, get a better job! Work your way up to management and wait for that dude to come one day for an interview...

"Tell me about your prior work history Mr Dipstick"?

I agree. Double standards put the advantage on the side of the people who already have the advantage

@Bang5luts Yeah I've never given two weeks notice, if I was in a more professional job I'd do it but then again if I was paid more I wouldn't be looking for jobs in this scenario anyways lol.

America is very much a third world country when it comes to employment conditions. If you live there, you can expect nothing else..😷

Unfair dismissal
Unfair dismissal is when an employee is dismissed from their job in a harsh, unjust or unreasonable manner.

Employees need to apply to the Commission within 21 days of the dismissal taking effect. The 21 day period starts the day after the dismissal.

If you think you have been unfairly dismissed, you should contact the Commission as soon as possible.
