So I talked to my coworker from the hotel yesterday.

She said she's by herself some days, to open, run the kitchen, clean up, close plus put their truck away. Works 6, 7 days a week. And was mad at me for leaving.
What she didn't know it that I agreed to help Tuesdays & Wednesdays but her loving boss said no.
So I told her I guess the GM thinks no help at all is better than a little bit.
I am SO glad I'm gone from there!!!

That`s BS. If i was her I wouldn`t be busting my hump for them. I suppose she isn`t in a position to quit, because if she was they`d have no one.

@Degbeme Yep, she needs that job.

That must be a relief knowing you aren't subject to that sort of treatment any longer

@Bang5luts It's like a breath of fresh air!!!

It was the best move to get away

@forestgirl Girl I'm so much happier & less stressed now!!!
Yes.

Sounds as though mismanagement is a priority.

@SomeMichGuy Right?!? And Marriott standards is ALL about keeping the guests happy & acting as a waitress would, checking on tables, asking them if they need more coffee, etc. How can she do that plus everyrhing else??
@Tumbleweed Nope. *sigh*

@ineedadrink Bigtime. I gave my notice so they had plenty of time to get her some help. The AGM had me talked into doing two days a week but the GM said she just couldn't do that. Wtf??
