We have elderly people staying at the hotel while their apartment building is being renovated

one of them spilled orange juice all over the place, STILL mopping the sticky up. We have one sitting at the table at the crack of dawn waiting to be fed. We have one who we have to constantly keep fixing food for because he eats his share plus everybody else's. We have one who parks her walker in the middle of the aisle so the other guests have to squeeze by. We have one who smells like manure because it's all over the back of the pants he wears every damn day.
And I'm sorry, this is a hotel, not a nursing home & someone needs to come oversee these people ffs.

It's unfair for both sides. If you're feeling that, then the others may be too. Arrange a meeting, agree on things with your head, have the head talk to management. If the elderlies are paying to stay but are evidently needing more care and management agreed, then they should have briefed their workers at least before they accepted the booking.
You can agree on incentives, maybe like higher salary or other benefits. If you are required to go beyond usual job description, then arrange that at least. But make sure to do it all in private out of the elderlies and other customers' hearing range.

At the same time, I hope you find it in you to be more patient with them. All of us grow old and no one knows where we would be someday. You need kindness. So do they.

@Casheyane I agree, I'm kind to them because they didn't ask to be in the shape they're in. What pusses me off is the people who sent them to us as well as our manager accepting them simply for the MONEY.
It's frustrating to say the least. We have one who sits down & has to have her food brought to her. So in that case, they need assistance from whoever does it for her at home...
