According to “Quit Like a Millionaire” your 65k would last about 1.5 years if you mostly travelled in low cost parts of the world.

@Offthetop no way dude. 2k a month will have you living a nice life on every continent . But it will be Philippines or Thailand , not Tokyo. Albania , not Monte Carlo . Mexico , not NYC.

@AthrillatheHunt The authors did a one year trip that included some pricy spots but mostly not. They found that it cost about the same as their life at home as Canadians living in the USA.

@Offthetop then they were writing semi fiction. I could easily live on 2/3k a month on any continent . My rent is 3200 a month in NY.
