Yea, I have an 45 min to 1 hour commute each way.

Replacing my original 30 min commute for the 7 minute commute that I enjoyed for 30 years was one of the best things that I ever did.

I've been eyeballing buying another house closer in to work. Use it until I retire and sell it off along with the one I own now. Takes about an hour to drive home on average currently. Somedays up to 2 hours if there's a wreck.

Personally I'd be all for it -- but I worked from home while being a stay-at-home Dad, so commuting was NEVER my thing.

I need to change jobs too. People pecking on the door after we were closed still wanting more. 😡😡😡

I walk to work every day. 30 minutes each way. It gives me good exercise, and clears my head. I arrive at work relaxed.

But you also have to like what you do.

Working from home is the best.

That's what I did I'm 11 minutes away on country roads, stop at the local store for coffee and off I go
