Job stolen from me last year

Torn from my grasp by weak, small-minded cowards who couldn’t handle a strong woman calling them out on their BULLSHIT. Everything I did, the hours, the ideas, the relentless dedication, you’re just going to cut me loose like that? Because I refused to kiss the asses of incompetent, dusty, power-hungry dinosaurs who wouldn’t know real leadership if it slapped them in the face. The Lithuanian Foundation is crumbling without me. Oh, I know it. I don’t even have to check. I was the only thing keeping that place afloat. Let’s be real, they needed me way more than I ever needed them. And now? Now, they’re probably scrambling, grasping at straws, desperately trying to fill the void I left behind. Spoiler alert: they CAN’T. The Lithuanian Foundation pretends to be about preserving culture, but what do they actually do? Fund the same tired, irrelevant projects? Prop up the same boring, lifeless, uninspired people who have NO understanding of modern Lithuania, let alone any ability to bring it into the future? I TRIED to push them forward. I TRIED to shake things up. And for that, I was punished.

Maybe they just didn't like your attitude?

@YoMomma You think women should smile more and be agreeable so fragile little men don’t feel threatened?

@Eglectic I think she meant that if you make the work place unpleasant than the powers to be will over look any good you do to make the work place more harmonious.
I don't know why you would think it has to do with men or woman.
Eglectic · 36-40, FNew
@Dainbramadge Everything has to do with men and women, because men have been running things for centuries. The way I was treated, the way they dismissed me, all of it was because I’m a woman. Full stop.

@Eglectic I guess your going to stick with that narrative because it's way easier to swallow than you were more of a pain than you were worth.
If you weren't you would still have a job.
Everyone can be replaced and having a bad attitude, like thinking you were irreplaceable and could act the fool to the boss or co-workers, puts you as someone who makes the work place hostile.
So I guess, in a way , you are right.
You were fired because your a woman that thinks she can show her employer, the one who hired you and pays you, that you are smarter and have a stronger will.
Work is a team thing.
The boss chooses the direction he want "HIS" company to go in. You can make suggestions on a better way but ultimately, it's up to the guy who runs the company.

@Dainbramadge I won't argue about it anymore, I know the truth and that's that.
