What's the most obvious lie you've ever been told at work?

@Moneyonmymind Yes. That and my suggestion "Your input is important to us" then say "Naaaaaaah" when anyone does suggest something.

@Moneyonmymind the owner of the real estate office told me I was the hardest worker there, and shook my hand - and less than an hour later I was informed that people wanted me gone and I was fired. He made me thank him for his kind words, knowing I was history.

@Roundandroundwego as I get older I am reminded more and more that NO job is really “secure” regardless of how long you’ve been there.
