I have someone like this at work, she is exhausting. I try to keep communication to writing and I won’t met with her one on one unless directed to by my line manager. In a group setting I will challenge her if I need to but I don’t bother getting in to arguments. I choose my battles. Good luck!

It’s always good to learn different styles of the job
If it’s a boss or maybe a new job then I adopt their style.
If it’s just a team member then I can see which style works best for me but I appreciate that wouldn’t work if the entire team has to adopt the same style
