@beermeplease she did take it personally but it was necessary. She didn’t believe people have allergies to scents. I’ve explained to her several times that I have trouble breathing around scents and I get migraines that lasts for a week But she still didn’t believe me. And then we had two more people join the office who also are all allergic so I took it upon myself to send a memo to everyone saying the office was now sent free and I put a sign up on her desk at reception and in the boardroom it’s a scent free office. For the most part, she has been complying with it since I did that

@Jenny1234 oh i believe you 100% that people can have scent allergies. hope there wasn't too much friction with you and that lady. a few years ago we had about 5 filipinos working with us. they would take their lunch break separate from the others (lunch room isn't that big) they were the nicest and hardest working guys in the warehouse. but once in a while they would microwave a certain kind of dried fish. the smell was so unbearable and filled the entire office air for hours...my boss (owner of company) asked me to politely ask them not to bring that kind of fish to work....when i talked to them about they knew right away how it could offend others and complied with no fuss....great group of guys and that was years ago...still have one working there and him and i have some fun with it when we look back

@beermeplease that’s great they were so understanding. The food is a difficult one to ask about isn’t it

@Jenny1234 It can cause nausea too. I wish people were aware of that.
