I think it is time for workers to return to the office, especially municipal and other government employees.

If there is a downturn in the economy and big companies start cutting staff who do you think will be the first go?

@2ndtimeguy

Office staff so they don't need to pay the rent

@pdockal State and municipal agencies already own the buildings. They will not get rid of them so the cost to them is the same. Those spaces have to be heated, air conditioned, lighted.

@Sevendays

If they are empty they don't need to cook & light them and can have the heat @ cooler them normal
If they are empty they can get rid of them ... downsizing it's called
DMV does most transactions online anyway so why do they need people in the office
Unemployment is totally online so why do they need anybody in the office
Shall i continue ??????? ?

@pdockal and who do they sell those spaces to? I have been to the DMV to obtain titles only to be informed that the person who does that isn't working that day.

@pdockal YOU'RE not your. SUPPOSE not spouse.

. I have to present documents to get titles for vehicles. They don't accept copies or online submissions. I go online for renewal, etc but in this case it has to be in person. There's no need to name calling here.
