What's the deal with ridiculous job requirements?

Ph.D, 100 years of experience for $10 an hour馃槓

That's how ridiculous job posts are that I see.
They just do not want to pay people decent wages.

I think it is poorly thought out to say they do not want to pay people decent wages? I mean first let's start with defining decent wages? Second it is their obligation to owners of the business to maximize profits, therefore anyone hiring you is obligated short and long term profits by finding a wage that does that. To complain about a wage is to completely miss the employer/employee relationship in capitalist society. By the way unions and minimum wagers are at conflict with a free
market place.
@southbeachguy is it though? When a corporation is unwilling to pay a wage that allows someone to live in housing, buy food and attend to their needs, that鈥檚 unreasonable now? When did that become an unreasonable expectation?

@nonsensiclesnail What responsibility is it of a corporation to pay "living wages"? Do we expect families to pay babysitters living wages? Do I think the snow cone stand that my 14 year old friends worked out during summer months, needed to pay living wages? Not all jobs are required to be 40 hour a week, 2 week vacation, paid holiday, full healthcare , 401k jobs. It is for the worker to learn skills that gain them those type jobs. Sometimes that means doing unpleasant work such as construction, mowing lawns, truck driving, working overnight manufacturing jobs.
@southbeachguy So why should I work for them?

@nonsensiclesnail I am pretty sure without workers a business goes out of business. Otherwise its a sole proprietorship, I assume you do not work about self employed people underpaying themselves?

@nonsensiclesnail I would never tell you who to work for, but you on the other hand should never complain that a company is not paying you what you desire. That is the crux of capitalism.
@southbeachguy that鈥檚 not an answer.

@nonsensiclesnail What question am I not addressing?
@southbeachguy the you are dancing around.
