I had the worst work day ever.

Not the worst. Probably the second worst.

Was gang bullied led by one guy. The others just provided a laugh track.

Because I'm not very smart, I didn't have any comebacks. By the time I did, he would start talking over me.

I'm thinking of reporting him to HR. But that would only make things difficult for me as I leave. I still need letters of recommendations and starting a beef like this could affect it.

I locked myself in a dark room and cried. Cried because I was angry at myself for not being sharp enough to clap back. I'm 30 and I can't stand up for myself. I feel absolutely depressed.

Let's do a count down. 57 days left.

Ask your HR team what happens if you complain. Are there protections for you? My company has these kinds of protections in place.
I'm the same way. Even if I know I'm in the right and I have everything figured out, I still have trouble making that clear to people and they end up making fun of me while I look defenseless.

So I know how you feel.

@SinlessOnslaught exactly. I struggle with that too. I wonder why I'm like that.

I'm sorry this happened to you. It's gross how many bullies are out there.

Hang in there. Better days will come.
Peeps accidentally fall on stuff on the floor all the time its not your fault if you drop something while hes walking by and he trips and falls on his ugly face

@Mudkip or maybe tactful. I'm just not smart enough
Mudkip · 31-35, M
@turningthekeys thing is, if you're tactful they'll just continue. You can't walk on eggshells forever, especially in your workplace.
Moneyonmymind · 31-35, M
regardless of the fact that you are leaving the company soon or eventually, I would still report him, that's how you can stand up for yourself.
turningthekeys · 31-35, F
@Moneyonmymind I know but what if my colleagues have an issue giving me letters of recommendations because I will now officially have this beef with someone?
Moneyonmymind · 31-35, M
@turningthekeys if they have an issue with you for doing what's right that's their problem
