for me...
this would be - making a positive impact in the world... or... serving the community...
and then seeing that impact take shape... witnessing it.
There's nothing better than getting so caught up in the day-to-day, and then after many years someone expresses to you how you've impacted them and changed their lives for the better.
That's very empowering and liberating.
That's what I would consider 'rewarding'... adding value and then seeing the 'returns' of that value add.
