Interesting, almost abstract and surreal photograph.... you'd wonder where those lines and hands end, the waiting hands tense upon a curb, set by the curb and gravel, with the measurement in instrument acting like a thermometer while the lines before act like the heart..

Each of those cores form the backbone fibre cable for the motorway network.
It is painstakingly hard to handle those delicate fibres,the technician does that.

@scorpiolovedeep Thanks for the retelling of how the photograph was found. If I could photograph a printing press, the hands working on them, as the machine plays its magic, I would.

Mr Kim the technician in his van , it has the splicing table and tools.
Each and every fibre is carefully spliced and inserted into the tray of the joint.
