Interesting, almost abstract and surreal photograph.... you'd wonder where those lines and hands end, the waiting hands tense upon a curb, set by the curb and gravel, with the measurement in instrument acting like a thermometer while the lines before act like the heart..

Mr Kim the technician in his van , it has the splicing table and tools.
Each and every fibre is carefully spliced and inserted into the tray of the joint.

Highway Construction is always dangerous.
The TMA (Traffic Mounted Attenuators ) usually are placed at the start of the lane closure , and they have the counterweight thing which prevents vehicles from entering the site)
Police is another layer of deterrent.
Plus we have UHF communication from truck drivers who alert the traffic controllers.
I have done night shifts for last 20 years
