I did bake for a while . I got a taste of it at least . I had to stop as it just did not fit my child's and husbands schedules so I've been doing something else in the mean time . I did enjoy it but not at the expense of my family . They come first . When my child is old enough to be more independent then I may get back into it ...we shall see

Sounds like fragrant work. I worked in a busy kitchen for one 11 hour shift as a dishwasher. Hard work. They had no non slip shoes in my size, I was slip sliding all over. Broke a glass, cut my hand. One 3 minute break. Only good part was taking out the trash at the end of the night. I got to lean on the dolly. Took me a half hour icing my ankles to get feet out of my shoes. I quit the next morning.

@DanielChristensen: yup, it's hard work ...it doesn't allow flexibility either ...I don't want to work at a restaurant or cafe , did that and did not enjoy it as much as working in a proper bakery ...now that I enjoyed far more ...

@Chernobylplayground: I thought you were in IT. Probably thinking of another sw user. Have you ever had a job you loved?
