Do i really have to go to work again today?

Memory triggered.

Little Edward, kindergartner on my school bus, had at least two issues. The biggest was cystic fibrosis, poor child. The second was he was non-verbal, in class and on the bus. Never spoke.

At the end of the second week of school, Edward was exiting the bus when a curly-haired blonde munchkin hollered "See you Monday, Edward."

Edward shook his head "no" sharply.

I said, "Yes, honey. You stay home Saturday and Sunday, then we'll pick you up Monday morning."

Edward turned slightly to address me and the rest of the passengers, and with the diction, projection and authority of a Broadway actor, replied, "No. I've had enough of this fucking shit."

I told the principal, "About Edward? The good news. He can talk. The bad news. He's a potty mouth way above kindergarten level."

How dare they makes us work two days in a row!
