So, we had our recalibration at work meaning everyone got a new manager, coaches and team. Yesterday was our first day.

I don't like it really... one coach is unbelievably loud. It is a terribly loud work environment as it is --- due to people being loud not machinery or anything of that nature. Then, she is intentionally loud on top of that. I can't hear my customers. I don't understand why she screams... what's the point? So that we listen to you over our customer? That's silly. And, there's no way I can do both. It's impossible to listen to two people at the same time. So, obviously you think you're more important than my customer. And, when I say she screams, she SCREAMS! This isn't a volleyball team, you know? We're SUPPOSED to be working in a professional environment.

It's awful. It really is ... 馃様

Definitely not a good environment

@Convivial A very LOUD one. No one can really focus in that kind of environment..

@perceptivei you should take some sound levels .. You can get an app for your phone to do that... It's not good for maintaining your hearing

@Convivial Exactly! On top of that, they always have music blaring right in our ears with a portable speaker! So, the music is already loud enough. People are constantly asking "Can we please turn down the music?" in the slack chat. I don't understand why they turn it up so loud. Customers complain about it all the time, and we wear noise canceling headphones! That coach screaming is even louder for us and the customer.

I know if I told my Dad he'd get so mad. "Why do you still work there?!" They pay better than anywhere else I've worked, but I don't know if this is worth it.

@perceptivei it sounds like management has read some crazy book on motivation lol

@Convivial something like that ...

@perceptivei seriously, you should do the sound level measurements... You may just need them if things escalate

@Convivial I'll try that. Thanks.
