There is an elegant simplicity, comforting really. I'm going to have to stop soon and I think it's going to piss me off when I do!

I get up when I want
Except on Wednesdays
When I get rudely awakened by the dustmen.
I put my trousers on, have a cup of tea
And I think about leaving the house.
I feed the pigeons, I sometimes feed the sparrows too
It gives me a sense of enormous well-being
And then I'm happy for the rest of the day
Safe in the knowledge there will always be
A bit of my heart devoted to it.

If you enjoyed your work, even the routine of it, then you will miss it all. I was lucky and still can do things for family and friends and they get alot of cheap labor. Find something you like doing and do it since now you can. I went thru a crappy , pissed off at whatever time but realized if I want to do something, I can take time and do it now.

@GerOttman Is there reason you have to quit. If so you might look into mentoring. I wish I had had someone to help show me business stuff. I could give people what they wanted at better price but keeping books just didnt interest me and always had to have someone do most of it. A mentor could have shown me thru it and other things they learned.
