Question: does one keep instances of losing it to oneself?

Today's society is stressful. But what do you do about it? Keep it all private and try to find an outlet for it? Try to renew yourself each time before going back or coming back from it? Is anyone actually still pushing back on this? Or is the fright of losing ones job way too much these days, or hasn't one even got the time to really think about it?

Probably ideal to have an arsenal of strategies,
and use which ever best fits the situation.
- Learning emotional self-regulation. Insight meditation, psychologists or self-help books can help with this.
- If anxiety gets too overwhelming, trying breathing into a brown paper bag for a few minutes - the CO2 is calming.
Slow, conscious deep breathing helps. For anger or anxiety, going for a very fast walk until tired helps enormously.
- NVC, CR and communication skills.
- Practical problem solving skills.
- Good understanding of boundaries, how to recognise them in oneself and others, and how to assert and respect them.
- Keeping fit, proven to help handle all kinds of stress.
- Regular time with a confidant - mutual sharing and empathy about whatever's happening in one's life.
- Pre-scheduled leisure time - in nature, hobbies, reading, pets, etc.

@hartfire Right, taking note. Anxiety needs to be controlled. Boundaries up. Keeping fit. Regular meetings with confidant
