Most management jobs and some supervisor ones too. At least that was what I witnessed at a couple jobs. They’d look straight into your eyes and lie their faces off about things.
@cherokeepatti no doubt about that. Anything that's going to make their company more profitable and give them a bigger paycheck. No matter how deep they got to bury it in you.
@cherokeepatti YEP!!! This is so true

@IndianaJoes The way they lied over things. No money in the budget for raises. After I retired I found out they were using our department’s money to cater free breakfasts and lunches every single day for the manager, supervisors and leads. One lead gained about 40-50 pounds in a year and I couldn’t figure out how she started gaining weight so quickly. They were catering so many different kinds of foods and telling us that they had to work through their breaks and lunch period…implying that we should work during ours since our workloads had increased 30-40% due to not filling job openings, so many were quitting during that period, especially new hires. Every one of them were dirty dogs to treat the workers this way.
@cherokeepatti That reminds me of a place I used to work. Profit sharing always came out on the month right when the worst quarter hits every year. And the excuse was always this.... Our sales are down and slow and machine maintenance is high. They would always find something to mention about what happened such as somebody wrecked a fork truck or a truck driver slammed into a dock and broke it or always had an excuse why something cost more than they anticipated for that year. We usually got a profit sharing but it was barely enough to cover the paper it was written on. And they always had fancy meals inside their office catered. But it was only for the office people too of course.

@IndianaJoes At the job where they were getting free catered meals the managers were getting fat bonuses for not filling all of those jobs. There was no profit-sharing for employees.
@cherokeepatti oh yeah we know that trick don't we. And the less they spend on their department the bigger bonuses they get too.
