What would you choose?

Fulltime remote job that pays lesser or a job with hybrid-setup, 2 days at home and 3 days in the office, where you would travel for 2-3 hours (with traffic) and pays 40% higher than fulltime homebased one?

I would probably prefer the home-based job, as long as it still paid enough. Would the extra 40 percent cover the expenses incurred for having to travel up to 24 hours a week? Could your life tolerate losing 6 hours a day away from family in addition to 9 hours of work (an hour for lunch), even if only 3 times a week?

@DunningKruger As for the travel time probably I could tolerate as I live alone, but yes, 24 hours is a little too much. The office is in the city center so most workers dine out and maybe socialize so one would spend more than being at home. Personally, I prefer working at home being an introvert.

@TessDun The biggest drawback of working from home would be the isolation. Going to work would at least be a reason to get out of the house.
