I screwed up big time. I slept through my alarm and missed the job interview I was supposed to attend today.

Nobody called so I suppose that means I blew it.

If you had a hangover it’s probably for the best

@Mindful I wasn't hungover just in a deep sleep

@NovaNine deep sleep often?
I missed one interview when I was 29yrs old. I did not even call to cancel. I had an unexpected emergency . Since the company did not understand, I decided I’d never want to work there in the first place.(I had a miscarriage.)

@Mindful Not super often but when I do it's really nice because I wake up feeling brand new. First and foremost I am sorry for your loss and from the sounds of it you dodged a bullet for turning them down. If they can't understand something as serious as a miscarriage it makes me wonder how poorly they treat their staff.

@NovaNine exactly. I wrote the corporation a long letter of complaint … regarding their assumptions that I was lying … of course I was invited to interview but exactly why would I do that? I get that ALOT… people assume I’m being fake or lying. :-/

Deep sleep is wonderful (unless you have untreated sleep apnea)
It’s good that you can still enjoy it and not feel guilty about missing anything :-D I feel bad EVEN after an emergency but not THAT bad ha. Life is crazy and it’s been said— what matters is how we respond to it…
Wish you well at the next interview. But maybe set an insanely obnoxious morning alarm if -and only if -you really want the job. :-)
