New job, new outlook

I decided to become an independent contractor, and work for myself. It’s been too hard finding an actual job to employ me. Plus, I feel more free to do what I want when I can make my own schedule. Working from home is great when you don’t have to adhere to a schedule that demands you to work fixed times. The only downsides are tech issues and having to take out your own taxes due to it being a 1099. I chose a company called Omni Interactions. So far, I’m liking how they do things. They pay by the hour (unlike most), and they won’t not pay you if you’re not on a call (at least that’s what I heard when meeting with them today. I’m excited! Hopefully this does not disappoint. I start learning for the certification tomorrow, and take my first calls next Tuesday. Can’t wait!
