Anyone else here have issues with being too sensitive?

I'm sensitive to people at work. I want everyone to like me and get along with everyone. If someone doesn't seem to like me (especially someone in a leadership role), I get really bothered by it. I just want to know why the person doesn't like me. Anyone else have that problem?

I think you make your life very complicated.

Unless a person says they do not like me or makes it very clear they do not like me I don't assume anyone dislikes me and would be very wary of thinking someone seems to like or dislike me.

If you want everyone to like you and to get along with you, you need to stand up and show them who you are, rather than worrying that someone will dislike you.

I have not met anyone who is genuinely liked by everyone and gets along with everyone. I have met some people who think they are and they are very sadly mistaken.
