My sneakers have worn out to the point of there being a hole in the fabric on a side which is visible as a crocodile's eye opening and closing

When I walk. Not that I'm ashamed of it. I couldn't care less about the shoes I wear. Just the frustration of not getting paid enough to be able to afford new sneakers while also paying for food and self grooming. I bought this pair 18 months ago and have worn it almost every single day since. Good quality chaps. Got them on a discounted price too. I just wish that for the step count required in my job, they would pay me a parallel amount. I shouldn't be preoccupied with impending financial crisis if they really want me to perform for their company.
And don't they want me to be presentable?

Yeah it doesn't make sense that companies want 100% efficiency from people but they don't pay them enough to even have the bare essentials. And with a lot of these big companies, they make more than enough to pay their workers better but they would rather make excuses and line their own pockets

@deadgerbil yep. The ceo always rolls in the premises in one of her Prado's or Pajero's geared by a driver, with a secretary to open the doors for her.
