Ah, I thought the narrative was «nobody wants to work anymore»

Instead here we are. What is this, occupational jealousy? 🥴

Some companies have exclusivity terms in their contracts. If you want to work elsewhere ensure it doesn't show up on any social media or linkedin.

@Longpatrol Well, if they're expecting a marriage they better pay for and clarify it upfront 🥴
@Longpatrol work is not a contract though

Mr Big Shot tech CEO is not willing to pay his people.

My experience with software companies hasn't been the best. CEOs that I have known seem to be very paranoid and sometimes have irrational fists over trivial matters.

Just realized that description can fit me too (occasionally)
Elessar · 26-30, M
@Miram I'm getting the same impression about them tbh

Well he should give me a raise because I don't want to work at all

Solution: start a software development worker's cooperative.
DDonde · 31-35, M
@basilfawlty89 Literally just an open source github just have to monetize it somehow
basilfawlty89 · 31-35, M
@DDonde yes and no. If you work as an agency and develop software, but instead the company is structured as a workers coop, no one would struggle financially. Kantega in Sweden did that, it's considered one of the best places in Europe to work.
There would’ve had to have been something in writing stating that you can’t be elsewhere employed.Lots of people have more than one job nowadays. The cost of living some places makes it almost imperative.

It was bullshit from the beginnning
Elessar · 26-30, M
@DDonde Always has been 👨‍🚀🔫👨‍🚀
