I wanna throw my phone out of my car window

My coworker was supposed to work for me today during the dinner shift. But apparently I was schedule lunch and dinner. The manager changed the schedule and my friend from work calls me telling me I was supposed to come in.

I wasn't aware of these changes. I feel bad because I know how hectic lunch is and we've been working short during it for weeks. All of a sudden there's a person that comes in at 10 and it's me?!

Plus everyone on this shift is new, and they're lazy. You think I'm coming in just so I could be carrying the team? Nah. Imma act stupid. Sorry but I didn't know. Fire me if you want to, I don't wanna work with you anyway. You don't even know what you're doing and you get your way by buying your higher up Chick-fil-A and Starbucks, bye I'm throwing my phone away

That is bullshit! You don`t change the schedule and not tell anyone affected by it. They can`t fire you for that. 🤨

@Degbeme They do that all the time. I have a friend working at mcdonalds and this is the type of crap I get to hear all the time. They're children running serious establishments, it doesnt work very well and everyone plays favourites.

@SW-User Nah they're often selfish and haven't learned how to think of other people's well being while under pressure. You need an experienced manager who can deal with all the youngster drama.
