I’ve been trying to figure out what it was about my job that fell apart
Besides the recent issues with my coworker and my injury.
It started with the restructuring. That’s when it all went downhill. They gave me less responsibility but more tasks.
More meaningless things to have to do but nothing new that was actually useful.
It was all “ok you had 1 form before now you have 3. And they have the be emailed and signed to multiple people. And on your days off you have to find an office to go to and get caught up on them because you can’t do them from home anymore due to security concerns.”
But then there was less stuff I was allowed to do. Stuff I really wanted to do. Stuff to be helpful and help people. But they made me the second lowest position in the entire agency, I’m not even allowed to have a badge that opens the doors to the office where I’m supposed to go to do all that paperwork.
I have to ask people to let me through everywhere because “workers of my title aren’t given access to sensitive areas”.
Man I used to love this job so much.
