Was I wrong for getting upset at a coworker for going off on me when I was trying to help?

Okay so what happened today at work was that when we were doing social studies with the students at work today, we were trying to keep the kids from running around. It was in the afternoon and one of the student kept going after her lunch bag. I kept taking it away because lunch time was over.
She kept reaching for her food. I asked her if she was thirsty. One of my coworkers (that dislikes me) went off on me saying,” NO! She is HUNGRY. You clearly saw that she is was reaching for her food! Why bother asking?! Give it here! I’ll put it up here.” She snatched it out of my hand and put it up so the student wouldn’t reach it. Jeez she didn’t have to yell. The teacher and other support staff didn’t even do anything or defended me when I got yelled at. They thought since I’m an adult, I should be able to handle it.
I tried to hold back the tears. She didn’t even apologize for yelling at me. I’m an autistic employee. She knows I am but she never speaks to me or ignores me when I talk about my interest. I don’t think she’s fond of me much.
