Why don’t I get any support at work? Is it fair that my co workers make me do all the work?
Today was another busy and horrible day. Kids screaming and crying. One of my coworkers complain to me directly that I don’t do much to help and I just sit and let her do all the work and the teacher too. I do help. I just need to rest. Special Ed kindergarten is TOUGH.
Kids never listen to me and one screams “NO!” When he has to work with me. They don’t do it to the other teacher. We do toileting and I did all of it. The coworker didn’t freaking help at all! She said since there’s only three staff now, one has to stay in with the teacher because teachers can’t be left by themselves. So I had to do all the toileting. It took forever because there’s 17 students. Not all of them wear pull-ups. Anyways I have them a tired look but they shrugged and kept helping the other kids.
The admin had a firm and honest talk with me that I’m not doing a good job as a staff and I need to help more with the bathrooms and some stuff I don’t wanna do. I complain she made me do all the work but they said it doesn’t matter I still wasn’t doing my job and made HER do it so it’s karma I got. Was it fair?
