My interview is tomorrow
I really hope I get it. I still love what I do as a concept but as I job it’s finally gotten too much. I feel like I’m way more likely to get it then not.
We’re too understaffed and everyone is about to break, we’re always so angry and short. That’s what finally did it.
And almost literally killing me last month. But it’s the stress more than that the risk doesn’t bother me so much but the environment has become really bad for my mental health recently.
Part of me will miss it. I’ll miss being out in the community and being part of such a tight knit little team. I’ll miss the people so much.
But it will be nice to have PTO, sick days, a set schedule, no more 6 and 7 day work weeks, no more leaving the house at 0400 or getting home at 2300. Change is good and I’ll be happier.
