Been there, done that and likely worse. Turned out he didn't even have a GED much less than a highschool diploma. And they actually made him a boss much later on the condition that he got his GED, which they paid for.
They want them young, not experienced.
This was concerning hazardous materials. He hadn't even taken the state mandated certifications that most of us had.

@DeWayfarer in the real world, education don't mean Jack squat
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@CestManan actually it does. Just not in the traditional sense of a better job necessarily.
It's good for critical thinking which in many jobs it's not necessary anymore. Thanks to our technology.
Yet when it comes to hazardous materials. You better be darn critical in your thinking or it's dangerous for many. Not just one or two. Their lives are in the hands of those who think critically.

ScarletWitch · 31-35, F
@SW-User you should do much more than that. Working vs time. So much youth gone because of it. In the end money won't matter. How much you spent your time will.
SW-User

@ScarletWitch I still need to work full time though when and if I can go back to work.
basilfawlty89 · 31-35, M
@iamonfire696 that wholly depends on your job and your experience. I know some freelance developers who $150 an hour. If they work 20 hours a week it would be comfortable.
iamonfire696 · 41-45, F
@basilfawlty89 I don’t make $150 an hour and that’s not that typical……
empanadas · 31-35, M
Hey man, you seriously work 12 hours everyday?
SW-User
@empanadas I don’t know about crypto currency though !! Where should I invest $100 and see where it goes ??
empanadas · 31-35, M
@SW-User bruh I been told you. Google terra Luna classic. Put 100 and there's a strong possibility of you getting 30 to 40k in like a year or less.
