So we walk into the place today to set up for work

Smell gas. That’s a nope. We eventually realize what we’re smelling and the headaches have started so we book it outside to set up.

I spent this time sitting in there. Standing in there. And breathing heavily from hauling tables and chairs outside.

Person in charge of the place says “it’s probably just an out pilot light no big deal”

One of tries to go to the bathroom an hour later and can see the gas shimmering in the light so it’s about to start a big ol fire

This is all next to a daycare where children are

I call bullshit on this situation and call 911 to get the fire department out there

The firefighters come and confirm gas leak and also find toxic levels of hydrogen cyanide in the air. 🙃

Because of course they did. Now we’re all feeling like crap and some of us are headed to the hospital.

This day has made me grumpy.
