Im told they are addictive. That keeping the listener on the edge of finding out the "truth" is a way to keep people engaged. Also, you now know that everything you do will be loose at with an eye of suspicion because everyone you work with is going to have deception and murder on their minds.

@nonsensiclesnail right?! One of them said “ by listening to it they will know what to avoid” my thinking is that they are now focusing on it so much that they are more likely to find themselves in those situations. You go where your focus is directed.

@Reflective I think the same. The one person I know who has been obsessed with murder for , well, yesrs, Their life is filled with turmoil and drama stemming mostly from themselves. Its truly amazing how what we believe, what we fill our mind with, changes our whole perspective.

@nonsensiclesnail yeah it’s like our thoughts are food for the brain. You feed it good thoughts and your brain remains healthy. You feed it bad thoughts and it starts to deteriorate.
