I just got offered a job without asking or looking for one

@Teggy yes… if it doesn’t actually come through, I know now from this feel that it’s something I want to definitely do. I’ve been tossing the idea of a part time thing around for a while, but have procrastinated.

@WaryWitchWandering Maybe worth putting the word out there to friends and family tbat you’re looking, Incase this doesn’t pan out.

@Teggy nope, if it doesn’t I will then start actively looking myself. I’m ready now, and I realized it just because this old Indian man started talking to me at the store and asked me what I do for a living …. He then just offered me a job flat out haha and took my name and number (he is the owner of the establishment) and is giving it to the manager (who does hiring). It’s a family owned store.

@10liters well I’m a stay at home mother to two very young children (my daughter will be 4 end of august, my son will be 2 end of September). I do most if not all laundry/dishes/cleaning/cooking/child care

@10liters but I want something else I have to leave the house to go and do. A routine for myself. And my own bit of money

@Bexsy if not it’s ok… this happening shows me I want to definitely go back to work (part time) to get out and just have something strictly mine to do

@DunningKruger me too… I feel oddly like I’m on to something lately. I’ve been making changes and just feeling more “life like”

Not anything crazy or exciting, just little things… and I need to still work on a lot of stuff with myself
