What is the shortest time you've stayed at a job? Why?

I lasted a week as a dishwasher back in my late teens. I left because the kitchen staff were mean towards me. Classic case of you're the outcast let's make life hard. I decided this wasn't worth the stress and found a job elsewhere.

After a rigorous selection process. Lengthy external training. A multitude of documents and contract to sign . Having undergone specialist vaccinations.

And colleagues were absolutely wonderful at welcoming me on board. At the end of my shift. Every one chime " see you tomorrow"

But!! I lasted just one day.

I felt sorry that I had let people and the organisation down.

I wrestled with the fact they would need to start the lengthy recruitment process all over again...
No the less I rang them and told them I would not be coming back tomorrow.

I realised on starting this job ..just wasn't for me. 😯
