What is the shortest time you've stayed at a job? Why?

After a rigorous selection process. Lengthy external training. A multitude of documents and contract to sign . Having undergone specialist vaccinations.

And colleagues were absolutely wonderful at welcoming me on board. At the end of my shift. Every one chime " see you tomorrow"

But!! I lasted just one day.

I felt sorry that I had let people and the organisation down.

I wrestled with the fact they would need to start the lengthy recruitment process all over again...
No the less I rang them and told them I would not be coming back tomorrow.

I realised on starting this job ..just wasn't for me. 😯

Like 3 weeks as a bartender. Mainly bcs of colleagues hitting on me,being inappropriate,etc

I’ve only had three jobs. Shortest one was working on my Da’s cattle ranch. That’s was like 12 to 18, so six years.

McD’s. Two weeks stinking of pseudo food and grease. My start date was delayed at another job

I was hired to work a five week telemarketing gig
I lasted all of one day

One day.
I was hired to sell concessions at a fair.

I think its cute and funny but some Asians might feel that you are putting them back with this type of joke even though you are Asian yourself. Basically perpetuating the sterotype.

I got the job as secretary but never showed up
