I’m a preschool teacher
Best thing about it
Having new little bffs who look up to you and genuinely think you’re the coolest thing ever. 🤭
Pushing them to their limit and learning all they’re capable of some things not even their parents realize they’re capable of.
Creating fun activities for each day
Getting to experience their growth throughout the year and see how far they’ve come and improved.

Worst
Not having the funds or supplies to give them the best experiences
Always short staffed
Not the best schedule currently or benefits
Difficult to come across workers who are passionate and caring towards the students.
Always thinking of your students even when not at work and always talking about them 🤦‍♀️

What about you?

@Stark first and foremost I really dislike the education system because it failed me miserably so to hear your side is really refreshing and amazing! You sound like an awesome teacher. The kids are lucky to have you.

I run my own business, I have a creative studio - creating brands, building websites and marketing. Thanks for asking back!
@mynameisray The education system fails a lot of people it even failed me. A lot of people who are in it aren’t truly in it for the right reasons or they’re overworked and given tasks they’re not capable of doing due to the education failing them as well. There are some teachers who aren’t that great in general, but there are also many who are passionate and loving but sucked dried from how much they’re let down but yet still expected to perform miracles when it comes to their students.

That’s sounds really cool. Not having to work for anyone. (: what are the best and worst things about it ?

@Stark oh I agree with you! Being a teacher isn’t for everyone. I’d love to set up my own supplementary school to teach kids life skills, give them a fighting chance in the real world. Not necessarily academic things but how to make the most of being an adult.

Thanks! Honestly, I love Mondays. I love getting to the office and waiting for my team to get in so I can ask them all what they’re weekends were like. I really try to go above and beyond my team. The only bad thing about it is being a business owner you have to mentally know that you’re responsible for every household that your team members come from. It’s quite scary knowing I have 10 families to feed and not just my own!
@mynameisray I think that’s cool. I hate they don’t teach life skills in school. Thankfully my parents are pretty supportive and helpful in that area, but I know it’s a lot to struggle with.

🥺 wow, that’s fucking sweet to have that mentality. I don’t think I’ve ever come across someone to view business in that way. Most people are only concerned about their household and well being. ❤️ You seem really passionate about your career i can tell by how loving and caring you are towards your employees. They’re lucky to have an employer like you (:
