I have felt like that before and it lasted prob the better part of a year. I had a cushy job at the time and spent a lot of it day dreaming tbh.

I focus on what I'm doing

This type of all consuming crush is normally infatuation. Be extremely careful. Loosing control this way can lead to big hearbreak, missed red flags, placing your desire for that person above other more important things in life which you already meantion is starting to happen.
If you want the best from this new potential situation your head must be in the game.
Just ask yourself why so infatuated? Do you feel like this person is slightly unobtainable?

I just focus on my work. I am driven like that.
