I often wonder about people who say they "love work" and how much they actually love work

I mean like, these people usually have a great work ethic and are loyal and hard workers,

But when you offer them paid time off, they usually never pass on the offer...
A lot of them also seem eager to retire too,

If the really loved work, wouldn't they never want to quit?

I love my work, but yes some day i would love to retire and rest.
When old, rest > love for work.

@SW-User but even when people rest, they still do things,
Things like videogames, movies, books, travel

If they could get paid for doing those things instead, would they take the offer? 🤔

@Fishy Rest in my case at least, would be more of the mind resting. Indeed i would still do many activities that does not require work related mind mashing.
If i get paid for that too, heck yes!
