Sounds like you enjoyed your work there! Did you make a Big Impact?
I enjoyed working on components to rockets, missiles, and satellites in the space industry with customers like NASA, Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, Northrop Grumman, L3Harris, etc. I also really liked my work at Texas Instruments making computer semiconductor chips.

@PatKirby It was a great job. My job was pretty much everything. The mining companies would drill the holes for us, and we'd load the holes with boosters, caps, and the ANFO. After we stemmed the holes, we'd tie everything in while the blaster would scan barcodes and time the shots. The entire shot would fire in a sequence, and the holes were timed millimeters apart from one another. There were usually 100-200 holes, so the entire blast would be within half a second.
